Quick Hits Quick Hits Pikmin Bloom, the new augmented reality game from the creators of Pokémon Go Currently only available in Australia and Singapore, the launch of the title will be gradual around the world and can be played on Android and iPhone. 'We experimented with a variety of different types of gameplay and different characters with Nintendo - said during the meeting in streaming with the press the number one Niantic, John Hanke - and after thinking about it we chose Pikmin as the ideal vehicle to express what we can express'. The name and the game mode in some ways very similar to Pokémon Go should not be misleading because the approach to the world and the mixture of real and virtual is completely different. Also in Pikmin Bloom you have to go outdoors, walk and explore 1.0 landscapes, observing and interacting with what appears on the display, but you lose the purely 'competitive' part of the 2016 sensation game: you don't have to fight or evolve creatures. In Pikmin the most important values are harmony and organization. For those unfamiliar with them, the Pikmin are in fact colorful, sentient and social beings created by Super Mario's father, Shigeru Miyamoto, who was inspired by the world of plants, diversifying them by colors, each with certain abilities. In the games released for 20 years now, you interacted with the Pikmin to solve mini-games or for basic real-time strategy titles, but in Pikmin Bloom the focus shifts to collecting and collecting creatures and above all taking care of them by walking through the roads of the world surrounded by this colorful and dynamic cloud. To encourage physical activity, it will take a number of steps to grow the seeds stored inside the inevitable backpack. The atmosphere is colorful and joyful, with a much more cartoon style than in Pokémon Go: it is suggestive to walk surrounded by Pikmin, who gradually release petals and flowers along the way, even more so if you administer nectar to the creatures to make them grow better. At the end of the day, you receive a sort of report with the activities achieved and you can add notes and photos. Who is Pikmin Bloom for? If Pokémon Go has had great success even with mature users and who never before had improvised trainers, in this case the experience seems to be aimed at a younger audience. As also demonstrated by the fact of limiting any moments of danger for creatures to a minimum. In short, an environment that wants to be nice and safe, as well as not too demanding. Facebook experiments with paid subgroups The company announced a number of updates to groups during its streaming Communities Summit, including the ability to create subgroups for specific topics and make them pay for them. Members of these sub-communities could thus access exclusive content and experiences. Facebook suggests the feature could be used for things like coaching, networking or other 'deeper conversations'. For creators, it would be another way to monetize their presence on the platform. During testing, admins will receive subscription earnings minus app store fees and applicable taxes, but Facebook says there won't be a revenue cut at the moment. Meta said group admins will soon be able to run e-commerce stores to sell merchandise or create fundraisers that could offset the costs of running a group. Among the new features is a suite of tools that will help administrators customize their group in various ways. Community Chats will then be launched, a chat interface on both Facebook and Messenger that allows administrators and the moderation team to talk to each other in real time. The feature could come in handy for larger communities. The company said these changes are also in anticipation of the role the groups will play in Meta's plans for the metaverse they are building. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said 'community building' will be a key part of the metaverse. Google Pixel 6, it's time to play with the software The new range of Pixel smartphones has finally reached the market - or rather, the first markets where distribution is planned. Among the inevitable bugs of the first hour, limited stocks and delivery times that get longer, the debut of the new flagship of the Android 12 operating system was not the best, the fact remains that - like every Pixel - they are devices held in great consideration by the users loyal to the operating system of the green robot, in particular by those more geeks who have already set to work to make the most of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro software, with the contribution of Google. First positive news: the Mountain View house has released the factory images and the kernel source code of the two smartphones. Valuable resources for the community of independent developers interested in modifying smartphone software in a more or less penetrating way and creating custom ROMs. The factory images are obviously also useful for those who intend to perform a reset to the factory settings, perhaps after a software change that is not successful. Second positive news: at least one of the software functions that seemed exclusive to the new Pixel 6, then that is not so exclusive, with a little healthy modding. The reference goes in particular to the Magic Eraser function, presented as one of the flagships of the camera software of the new Pixels. Thanks to artificial intelligence, with a single click it can eliminate unwanted objects from the photo, as would a sophisticated photo editing program. Well, it seems that a Google Tensor chip is not needed to manage it, since it has been demonstrated that it can also be used with smartphones other than the new Pixels. XDA points out that, once a specially modified Google Photos apk is installed, it is possible to use Magic Eraser with all Pixel based on Android 12 - the tests have also been successfully conducted on Pixel 4a - but it cannot be ruled out that other Android smartphones are also (not necessarily with version 12 on board) can manage the function correctly. Redmi Note, non-stop growth: 240 million smartphones sold On the occasion of the debut of Note 11, Redmi has communicated some important - and interesting - data relating to sales. Well, the Redmi Note series would have exceeded the threshold of 240 million units globally, a great success for a brand that is also investing in our market and offering quality smartphones at never excessive prices. Then think that the growth has been consistent and constant over time, meaning that this is not a temporary boom, but a sign of how the Redmi Note brand is appreciated by the public. There were 110 million Redmi Notes sold in March 2020, 140 in November, 200 at the beginning of this year and now grown by a further 40 million units. CEO Lu Weibing can therefore only be satisfied, considering the increasingly ruthless level of competition. Redmi has also been good at satisfying the demand of that portion of consumers who until recently relied on the solutions proposed by Huawei: the ban has inevitably reduced its shares, and several brands - including Redmi - have succeeded. to propose suitable alternative solutions (see, for example, the Redmi Note 10). The latest products launched by Redmi are therefore the Note 11 series, consisting of the standard model and the Pro and Pro + variants. The last two have in common the 6.67-inch FHD + AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chip, 5G connectivity and cameras (front 16MP, 108 + 8 + 2MP on the back), while the batteries are from 5.160mAh on the Pro and from 4.500mAh on the Pro +, which can also count on the 120W ultra-fast charging system. Redmi Note 11 instead has a 6.6-inch FHD + display with 90Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 810 5G processor and two rear cameras, one of 50 and the other of 8MP. Samsung Galaxy S22 Rumor: pre-orders will start in February 2022 The Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone family may be available for pre-order from February 2022: prolific leaker Jon Prosser claims this on his Front Page Tech website, citing anonymous sources. More precisely, week 6 of 2022 is mentioned, therefore the one that runs from February 7 to February 13. It seems that Samsung has not finalized the decision nor the exact date at the moment, so there may still be some variation, but the time window will be more or less that. At the same time, Prosser confirms what he said a few days ago regarding the tribolato S21 FE, namely that the debut should take place in January - to be precise on the 11th. In recent days, very interesting details have emerged about the South Korean company's next family of top-of-the-range smartphones, including a series of ultra-realistic renders of the flagship S22 Ultra model. The new range will represent a rather clean cut with the past from a design point of view: instead of resorting to the now classic, monolithic rectangular rear camera module, each lens will be isolated from the others, taking up a bit of what we have seen recently with the Galaxy A range. On S22 Ultra we should have four cameras, to which depth sensor and flash will probably be added. The range should mount the latest SoCs from Qualcomm and Samsung, divided as usual according to the target markets; as always, the model with Exynos should arrive to us. There may also be a small naming change to the line-up: the S22 Plus model could become the S22 Pro. On the battery side the capacities should remain substantially unchanged - perhaps even slightly lower on the S22 smooth and S22 Plus / Pro. 10-11. Riba mundo 12. Hiring companies_ the tricks to get jobs right away words Hiring companies: the tricks to get jobs right away You have understood that simply responding to the ads of the companies that are hiring is no longer enough and you need to understand how to find work quickly without wasting time and without burning your hopes. Well, continue reading! Below we report the experience and tricks used by people who have managed to find hiring companies by making themselves preferred over all the other candidates. Choose the moment There are several times to apply to companies that are hiring or that are in any case thinking of doing so. • State of apparent calm • The period where they seek discreetly • The unleashing of chaos These 3 moments are very different from one another, both for the way you have to present yourself and for the results you can get. The 1st one of these is the most difficult to identify, even if it gives 90% of the positive results. The 2nd is the one that gives you a slight advantage over the others who are in the job search phase, while the latter is almost useless to practice. Chances are, if you're not getting responses to job offers, you're using the wrong time to apply. Use the best method There are 3 different methods to apply: • The standard curriculum vitae • The presentation by a person within the company • The direct interview letter The standard curriculum vitae is now an outdated method of applying for job vacancies. For some time the same recruiters have been urging to abandon this tool, given the damage they can produce to the companies that receive them. Presentation is a very common practice to find job right away. However, this implies that you already know important people in the company or that you know how to find allies who can help you. And normally, that cannot be the most wide case. The letter of direct interview is the method that was used by the most famous companies in the world when the problem arose of how to find a job quickly and efficiently. It is not easy to set up and for this very reason it is highly appreciated by hiring companies, as it shows that the candidate is particularly interested in their job offers. Ask yourself the right questions To avoid burning out the interesting job offers you find around, before applying, you need to be self-critical. Asking the right questions is the best way to avoid discovering the real reason why you've missed great opportunities in the past due to simple carelessness. Take precautions If you already work, you have to be very careful how you apply as often those who receive your proposal do not have a system capable of guaranteeing its confidentiality, making you lose your current occupation in the worst case. Avoid the dangers Even if your 'job goal' is very strong, you absolutely must avoid running into the most common dangers that lurk behind the job hunting activity. One of the most common is the consumption of free time necessary to chase job offers (sometimes unnecessarily), a phenomenon that if not controlled can lead to very strong states of unease and frustration. Relying on people who do not have the right professionalism and competence to evaluate you is another danger that you must pay close attention to, as it can lead you to a whole series of material and psychological consequences that you would gladly do without. Even if you are almost on the home straight to find work, another danger is the downside game of companies trying to take advantage of your situation to reduce the pay you deserve. Overcoming discrimination It is useless to go around it: many companies discriminate on the basis of age. To avoid being discarded for your (too much) experience, you need to adopt a completely different way of introducing yourself. You can tell the company that you can give them maybe more of what they are looking for, and that you will be very pleased to open about your experience for the new company’s sake. React if you are not immediately successful Finding work immediately could be more difficult than expected if you operate in particular conditions for which it is necessary to provide some countermeasure to react to frustration if the times are longer than expected. 13. LinkedIn looks at freelancers with a new platform LinkedIn looks at freelancers with a new platform LinkedIn, the world's largest professional networking platform, is opening up a new front in the freelance job market. The Microsoft-owned company will launch a service designed for freelancers, called Service Marketplace. This new feature will allow freelancers on the LinkedIn network to connect with potential clients who are willing to hire them, commissioning jobs, modeled on platforms such as Fiverr and Upwork. As of 2020, thanks to the pandemic and smartworking, the two sites have earned $ 550 million, a 37% increase over the previous year. LinkedIn announced plans to launch a test of this service in next February 2022 in the United States to keep up with the recruiting needs of companies and help people who had lost their jobs due to the pandemic to find employment. LinkedIn spokesperson Suzi Owens said that since the start of the pandemic, the number of platform members who have added 'open to work' to their accounts has increased dramatically. The test results were encouraging: the company found interest in Service Marketplace from two million users of the platform. Marketplace, from what is known for the moment, will aim to find jobs for designers, marketers and software developers, among others. The company says it plans to launch a total of 250 categories with plans to roll out to 500 in the future, LinkedIn product manager Matt Faustman told TechCrunch. This isn't the first time LinkedIn has attempted to connect gig economy freelancers with employers who need these kinds of services. The company also already offers a freelance connection feature called ProFinder, which allows users to search and connect with freelancers in a particular industry. LinkedIn announced that Marketplace will not charge any fees at the moment like it does for its other recruiting tools, but that this will be a point on which it will make a decision later in time. At the same time, LinkedIn, which gathered around 25 million new users in the last quarter, is adding the ability to specify that you are looking for remote, hybrid or on-site jobs, via filters that can appear in the expression 'open to work'. Additionally, LinkedIn will allow Company Pages to indicate their vaccine policies and return-to-office plans. How to Activate the New LinkedIn Freelance Platform To configure this new area we must go to the 'Professional Services' section or from the profile, where with the update a button will appear with the name 'find potential clients'. With this, then we will have to add the services that can be provided and in which areas. The new feature marks an interesting turning point for LinkedIn under the wing of Microsoft: for freelancers launches with 250 job categories, and the plan is to expand them to 500. For now, there is no way to negotiate wages or rates for the job, or to bill, and those looking to hire are not required to give any specific guidance on fees until they enter into a more in-depth conversation with a candidate. As we mentioned, to this are added new features to search for employment on LinkedIn. These include new search filters to find jobs that are remote, hybrid, or face-to-face. In addition, you can now also check the vaccination requirements of the companies as part of the job evaluation (if the employer himself has indicated those details). LinkedIn, increasingly important in job search This is one more step on the road that has practically turned LinkedIn into a simile of lifelong resumes. In it, recruiters can see at a glance the work life and skills of all employees who have a profile in it. But, through Linkedin, it is also increasingly common for many companies to completely transfer their job vacancies to the social network. Therefore, it is important to have an updated profile if we want to use Linkedin as a way to attract employment. 17. Rocket Drop 18. LinkedIn looks at freelancers with a new platformm 19. Rainbow 20. Best Recruitment Strategy to find people in 2022_ how to find the best employees Best Recruitment Strategy to find people in 2022: how to find the best employees Hiring talent remains a top priority for company CEOs. CEOs cite the lack of qualified candidates as the biggest threat to their business. With the right recruiting tips and tricks you will help your company find not only good workers, but also the right workers for you. Hiring the right workers leads to higher productivity, better retention and reduced turnover. As a result, your business can continue to grow organically and evolve. Why is finding the best talent such an important investment? It's simple: good workers drive success. It is a fact that companies with good workers are successful. It may be simple, but it's not always easy. Three quarters of employers report difficulties finding qualified candidates. Finding someone who meets the technical requirements and is compatible with the company culture is difficult! This is why solid recruiting practices give companies a competitive edge. Advice for the recruitment and selection of personnel to attract the best talent Here are our top recruiting tips. With these tips you can fill more positions with high-level candidates and reduce the time required for hiring. Spread the word Before even creating a job posting, companies need to lay the groundwork for building a reputation as a place where employees want to work. Reputation is more important than ever: 55% of potential candidates will decide not to apply for a position if they read a negative review of the hiring process of a company. Make sure your company's online presence reflects its values and strengths. It is the best way to attract ideal candidates. When you have an open position to advertise, use social media to your advantage by looking for passive candidates - candidates who are not actively looking for new job positions. Broaden your search by reviewing LinkedIn or posting to professional groups on Facebook to access more candidates. Of course, don't forget that the best way to recruit new employees is often through your network. Ask current employees to spread the word or have them attend events where they can act as brand ambassadors. If you can join existing communities and networks around you, you can save time and find the perfect candidate. Optimize the personnel selection and research experience thanks to technology Given the growing presence of technological tools in everyday life, it is good practice for companies to accelerate the search and selection process of personnel with candidate tracking systems. Slow recruiting practices demotivate candidates. In addition, they also create unnecessary blocks in the growth of the company. According to some estimates, each vacancy can cost a company $ 500 a day. Time is money! Fortunately, you can save both by keeping the company organized and efficient. Formalizing the hiring before too much time has passed will also ensure that your best talents are not chosen first by someone else. Data analysis can be used to predict whether a candidate will be suitable, to track the best candidates for future positions and to recruit proactively rather than reactively. The data can also be leveraged to help companies understand shortcomings in their recruitment processes and identify obstacles. By keeping track of metrics such as the application completion rate, the rate of qualified candidates, the cost of hiring and the response rate of candidates, you can simplify the recruitment process. Never miss a hiring opportunity again due to human error! Automating the recruiting process can make a huge difference. This is one of our key recommendations on the recruiting process. Professional Hiring Tip: Think carefully about what you are looking for It is extremely important to be clear about the needs and expectations from the beginning of the personnel selection process. While it sounds simple, too many recruiters haven't taken enough time to define the exact job requirements and corresponding attributes needed by candidates. Try to define these requirements as soon as possible and maintain consistent communication. Headhunters Tip: Don't confuse the requirements with your wish list. Be realistic about how much experience the job requires (some companies should remember that a basic salary does not usually attract those with 10 years of experience) and what skills are indispensable and which ones can be learned after hiring. Job interviews offer a great opportunity to see how a potential hired will meet the requirements and adapt to the dynamics of the workplace. During interviews, ask questions that reflect real situations. Keep the needs of open positions in mind, to stimulate how candidates will respond in everyday scenarios. Encourage them to give specific examples of past experiences; this is the best way to determine how they will act in the future. The right questions during an interview can offer important insights into how a potential employee spends time and energy. Take all necessary notes! This is your chance to find the best talent that fits your goals. Embellish your offer Time to keep up with your competitors. One of the best recruiting tips is that if you want the best talent, you need to make it worth it. The good news is, it's not just about the money. Studies show that potential candidates can be attracted by four 'excellent': • Great company - Employees want to work for a company with an exceptional reputation. What makes your business great? Focus on transparency and values, business effectiveness and results or contribute to the development of the company. Show potential employees what makes the company unique. • Great job - Employees don't want to feel like the last wheel of the wagon. I am looking for jobs that offer opportunities for personal fulfillment and career advancement. Make sure you show the interesting part of the work you do. Let potential employees know that you are investing in them and their growth (for example, hiring a business or a group coach). • Great Rewards - Okay, this is about money. Competitive salaries are key to attracting the best talent, along with other benefits such as paid holidays and health care. Corporate benefits also help. Some companies offer daycare, pay employees to volunteer, or subsidize gym memberships. The benefits that reflect your company's values will be the most enticing. • Great Leaders - Everyone wants to be a part of something bigger. Impress your potential employees with the charisma of your leader or simply make them enthusiastic about the company's goals and missions. Be clear about your core values and potential candidates will be impressed that your business has such a strong identity and momentum of its own. Trust your instincts Among the best tips for selecting staff we have the following. Remember that adaptability to corporate culture is even more important than the skills the candidate possesses. That said, finding an employee who learns the culture of your company, makes friends with colleagues and can get along immediately with the team is essential. Experts recommend this: If you have to choose between two candidates, one who has the skills but is not a good fit in your corporate culture and one who can easily fit into the corporate culture but has fewer skills, choose the latter. Skills can be learned; developing sympathy, often and willingly, cannot be so easy. Additionally, a candidate who fits the corporate culture is more likely to stay longer in the company. In the end it's much better for your bottom line, because recruiting costs can be high! A company is only strong when its employees are too. And the best employees are only achieved when recruiting efforts are such that you can find them. With these recruiting tips, you can be sure to find the best fit for the position you need in no time. 21. BSC 22. Best Recruitment Strategy to find people in 2022_ how to find the best employees 23. The first etf based on the price of bitcoin was launched on Wall Street The first etf based on the price of bitcoin was launched on Wall Street The first bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) appeared on the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday 19 October. It was launched by the ProShares company and it has been a great success for now, as it closed the trading day at + 4.85%, the second most traded ETF ever at its debut. This is an important novelty for the world of cryptocurrencies, after financial supervisors had been blocking such products for years. More are expected to arrive in the coming weeks, this as the value of bitcoin continues to rise and has surpassed the April record of $ 64,859. The new ProShares ETF ProShares is a group active since 2006 that offers about 130 exchange-traded funds (ETFs), passively managed investment funds. In August, they made an official request to the SEC, the highest authority in the United States in the regulation of exchanges and corporate securities, to list on the New York Stock Exchange a new product that follows the trend of bitcoin futures contracts, the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy Etf. (Bito). Not a product that invests directly in bitcoin therefore, but exposed to its price changes through derivatives already existing on the market. That is to say, on contracts that speculate on the future price of bitcoin, which will not necessarily correspond to its real price. The SEC had 75 days to express any objections, which however did not arrive. If in the last four years the US authority under the leadership of Jay Clayton had rejected at least ten investment solutions of this type, with the new boss who took office in August Gary Gensler it was immediately understood that things would change, given that he himself had made openings to ETFs linked to cryptocurrency futures. This is how the official debut of the ProShares investment fund took place on Tuesday 19 October, the first of its kind eight years after the first proposal, which in one day saw its price rise from $ 40 to $ 41.94. a + 4.85%. According to Elisabeth Kashner, director of research on ETFs at FactSet, that constitutes the second best debut ever in terms of exchanges (over a billion dollars in value) for a product in this category. If until today the investment in cryptocurrency fluctuations was in fact reserved for institutional investors through futures such as those of Bakkt, already authorized on some American exchanges such as that of New York and Chicago, with the first etf on bitcoin the sector opens also to small and medium-sized retail savers, who are particularly comfortable with this type of passive instrument. This even though there were already easy-to-use tools to expose yourself to bitcoin, including apps like Paypal. A good time for cryptocurrencies The launch of the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF has been in the air for a while and it is no coincidence that in recent weeks the price of the most important cryptocurrency has continued to rise. Its value has increased by 48% since September and exceeded 66 thousand dollars, breaking the all-time record of last April, when the digital currency reached 64,859 dollars. According to several analysts, it could exceed 100 thousand dollars per bitcoin, precisely in the wake of the new openings to ad hoc investment products by the financial supervisory authorities. Already in July, after cryptocurrencies had appeared on the exchanges through futures in recent years, the ProFunds company, a ProShares subsidiary, had launched the first mutual fund on bitcoins in the United States. Earlier this month, the SEC gave its okay to an ETF of the Volt Equity company that invests in technology companies with exposure to bitcoin and supporting infrastructure. Now it was the turn of the first bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF), which could pave the way for several other products of this type in the near future. Moreover, a new passive cryptocurrency product was set to to debut, a futures-based ETF of Valkyrie Bitcoin, which had already obtained certifications for listing on the Nasdaq. At then, it was the turn of another similar product from the American company Invesco, the Invesco Galaxy, which however withdrew the application in the past few hours, suggesting that it wants to study together with its partner Galaxy Digital Holdings a product that directly holds cryptocurrencies and not futures. Other important bitcoin products waiting for success are the Global X Bitcoin Trust, the WisdomTree Bitcoin Trust, and the Kryptoin Bitcoin Etf. The launch of the industry's first ETF should have broken the reticence barrier. According to Ian Balina, CEO of the analysis firm Token Metrics, 'we are facing a barrage of new capital and new people ready to enter the cryptocurrency space'. Other analysts, however, underline that the attractiveness of these ETFs will remain low at least in the world of retail savers, who will keep away from their complexity and continuous fluctuations. Institutional investors will continue to occupy the sector (increasingly in terms of volumes), which is still good news for the future of cryptocurrencies. 28- 41. Honor 50 and 50 Lite land with Google Play services inside word Honor 50 and 50 Lite land with Google Play services inside HONOR is back. And it is back stronger than ever, newer than ever, but above all with a wealth of experience that it will only be able to exploit in the coming months to assert itself in the difficult smartphone market. A highly welcome return that had already been announced a few months ago but which only materialized last week (first decade of November, at the time of writing) with the presentation of the new HONOR 50, the first true smartphone of the company's return to Europe. The ban It will definitely take some time for the HONOR brand to shine as before. But the Chinese brand, as mentioned, knows its stuff. It worked for years as an offshoot of HUAWEI, however, addressing a completely different audience, a much younger audience, designing smartphones that not only had a lower price than the top of the range of the others but also different peculiarities from the usual. Over the years it has made inroads among the youngest and has taken over a large slice of the market, managing to be recognized, dictate stylistic standards and more. The ban imposed on HUAWEI by the US government has shut down all this temporarily. The Chinese company was inevitably struck by the inability to sell smartphones with Google services and had to shift the attention of its audience to smartwatches, fitness bands or notebooks. All valid products but it was clear that HONOR's desire had always been to return to selling complete and valid smartphones to compete with the competition. HUAWEI has decided to unmark HONOR by selling it to an association of Chinese entrepreneurs. The beginning of a new path, different from before, away from the spotlight on HAUWEI and above all with the ability to restart with new smartphones with all Google services inside. A restart on par with the others. The comeback with Google Honor had been silent as far as launches are concerned, but it is finally back to present the new Honor 50 and 50 Lite, the first two terminals of its new family that are committed to covering the segments of the medium and high range with terminals very focused on photography and performance, maintaining the usual tremendously cheap prices of the brand. All this together with the great announcement of the return of the Google Play Store, something that if many users take for granted as part of the basic Android experience, has been the reason for the brand's latest headaches. And it is not necessary to forget that the Chinese company had to abandon its parent company to be able to recover the integration of these services to its phones, without being under the watchful eye of the United States government. These are the first smartphones of the company to get rid of the sanctions imposed by the United States during Donald Trump's term on its former parent, Huawei. Those restrictions greatly limited the appeal of Honor terminals outside of China. Well, these, in addition to the Google applications, prevented the functioning of the apps that the Google Play Services needed. Of the three models presented in China, including a Pro, only two variants will arrive in Europe: we are talking about the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Lite. The latter, according to GSMArena, is apparently based on the Huawei Nova 8i and should not be confused with the Honor 50 SE. Honor 50 First presented in the Chinese market and now finally in Europe, we are facing a high-end phone that is committed to showing its premium orientation from its own design, with a distribution of main cameras in which two large round islands stand out on which the main camera rests on one side and the rest of lenses and flash on the other. And it is that one of the main sections of this new family is precisely photography and video, the Honor 50 equips a quadruple camera configuration composed of a 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle camera, a macro camera of 2 MP and a 2 MP depth camera, accompanied by up to three microphones for better sound reception when recording videos. Moving inside, we find Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G 5G processor, which enables excellent performance and power consumption along with exclusive innovations such as Honor's GPU Turbo X and Hunter Boost modes to further unleash the chip's potential, further improving its performance, and ensuring a faster and smoother user experience. Honor 50 Lite For its part, the Honor 50 Lite comes under a somewhat different design, with a main camera system arranged in the central part of its rear, with a square format distribution within a large round island, very similar to the design of Huawei Mate 30 phones. The great novelty of the Honor 50 Lite, compared to the Huawei twin, comes with the software part: the smallest of the range is equipped with Android 11 in the form of MagicUI 4.2 and in this round there are the much coveted Google Services with Related Google apps and Play Store. Thus, we find a premium mid-range terminal that, despite having a fairly modest 4G processor, stands out in other virtues such as its large screen and resolution, its photographic section with a 64 megapixel main lens, and the Same battery as its top model, with up to 4,300 milliamps with a 66-watt fast-charging system. All this again accompanied by the integration of Android 11, with its custom layer, and all Google services. Availability and Price The Honor 50 is available since November 2, available through the brand's online store under a base price of 529 euros for its 6 and 128 GB version, and a range of colors to choose from among the Frost Crystal (white with sparkles), Emerald Green (green), Midnight Black (black) and Honor Code (silver, decorated with Honor logos). As for the Honor 50 Lite, it will not arrive until the month of December 2021, available again first through the official website of the brand, at a price that will start from 299 euros for its 6 and 128 GB version, with a range colors Deep Sea Blue (blue), Space Silver (silver) and Mindnight Black (black). Now available at Sound Business. 43. Sound Business 44. Honor 50 and 50 Lite land with Google Play services inside word 45. Dream Cargo 46-47. XTG 48. Post-Covid work, no longer total smart working but a hybrid model word Post-Covid work, no longer total smart working but a hybrid model In the post-pandemic era, workers have become accustomed to the flexibility and freedom that remote work allows, and many are also willing to change jobs in order to continue working the way they are now used to. According to the Wall Street Journal, some employees will not return to work at all. A shortage of workforce is expected in the coming months and the board of directors plays a key role in mitigating this risk for the company. Companies and administrations, then, prepare the resumption of activities with a hybrid work model. With hybrid work we mean the alternation of remote and face-to-face work. In practice, a mix between work from home and days in the company. There are no predefined templates, but every organization can hire the one that best suits its needs. Remote working was established in the midst of the pandemic, where many workers found themselves carrying out the functions they took care of in the office, but from their home using different technological devices. The extension of the health emergency at the end of 2021 has meant that many still rely on the simplified version of smart working, a free all destined to end - Covid permitting - with the new year. Others are laying the foundations for the new normal: to find a balance between smart working and office work. Dozens of agreements take the road of mixing remote and presence, and many CEOs are ready to bet on the success of this new model. Telecommunications and finance are the spearheads of the movement. In these markets, for example, the level of smart working is now 50% (from the peaks of 95% at the beginning of the pandemic). In those offices the mixed work rule applies: employees can choose remote or office, based on the capacity limits of the structures. Once out of the emergency, the road is traced by the collective labor agreement of the sector and by an agreement with the company unions: up to ten/ 15 days a month of agile work. Already today in finance’s skyscrapers there are no fixed desks, while for access to the canteens you follow the indications of the single State of course. Remote days per week can be linked to the tasks (from two to four, in principle), with the possibility of going further for new parents; planning of the days on an ad hoc IT platform; flat-rate contributions for expenses; limit at 6 pm for videocall meetings, with a mandatory 10-minute break between one meeting and another. These are the pillars: • voluntariness with 'attention' to the needs of life / work; • autonomy, responsibility and trust' between bosses and collaborators; • the focus passing from the place of performance to the achievement of results; • flexibility of adaptation. If we think about it, rigid rules are a symptom of low maturity: the most courageous policies carve out the alternation of presence and remote on tasks and people. Fixed grids for dealing with pathological cases in which someone takes advantage fall on the shoulders of all workers. In other words: more mature companies that are trying to take the best out of their employees. A case-school studied by the Observatory is that of Maire Tecnimont, 'where the perspective is reversed and the guideline is to have the worker on site one day a week, to maintain contacts and relationships'. In some cases, it is the employees who want to return: they notice this at Satispay, a tech company where flexibility is at home: the requests to return to the office are even higher than the availability of places, currently set at two thirds of the total. In others, it is the companies that ask for a gradual return, focusing again on the daily confrontation in presence. In still others, maximum freedom applies. Fir example, in Bending Spoons App developer no attendance obligation is required until 2022. Some large multinationals are waiting for the events. In some European Countries, Google follows the policies set at a global level: remote work was extended until October 18 and there were 30 days of notice on the repayment plans. As for the vaccine, in the US it is mandatory for access to the offices and the idea is to extend it to other countries, but it depends on local laws (the debate is open). The stakes in the public sector are a little more rigid, where the general terms are regulated by law. Hybrid workplace: what is the role of the board of directors? One of the roles of the board of directors, especially within the broader context of corporate social responsibility, is to ensure that the company is seen as an attractive employer, both for corporate image and for attracting and retaining the best talents. In the post-pandemic recovery, being able to acquire and retain talent will be critical to business success. Almost all sectors, except those with big ups and downs due to the pandemic, have been in 'maintenance mode', but now with the gradual return to normal, all the business that was on hold is restarting and there is the need of people to support the accelerated workload. The signs of the labor market clearly indicate that companies will face a large shortage of labor in the short term, perhaps until the end of 2021. From a risk management perspective, the Board should do everything possible to keep this crisis under control. This could mean putting in place a series of strategic initiatives, from launching a human resources reorganization policy to the creation of an HR committee that reports directly to the board. This will help solve the problem both in the short term and in the long term when older employees have to retire and need to be replaced. While a hybrid business model is certainly an important component of any strategy, it is only part of the whole picture. A matter of security In a post-pandemic world, almost every company has the technological infrastructure to allow remote work. However, some of the solutions may have been chosen on the basis of convenience rather than efficiency. As part of the return to work strategy in the office, boards should entrust their technology committees with the task of making sure that the chosen solutions are robust enough to be used on an ongoing basis, that they do not duplicate the characteristics of other solutions already present in the company. and that they are safe. Cybersecurity is also part of the board of directors as part of risk management, and using solutions such as VPNs and access to on-site computers rather than cloud solutions is an unsafe way to digitize business. While cybersecurity was already on every company's roadmap before the pandemic, ransomware attacks have increased exponentially over the course of the pandemic and this is not a temporary increase, so much so that the president of the United States recently called on companies to intensify their cybersecurity efforts. 49. The devices that we insert in this guide take into account the products available on the market in the range between € 300 and € 600: in this category there are perhaps some of the most interesting phones in the entire market, given that a quality / price ratio is guaranteed such as to offer remarkable technical features that allow you to have great satisfaction in practically every area of use. Below, therefore, the ranking of the best mid-range smartphones in our opinion, the best best buy of the last part of the year 2021. 1. OnePlus Nord 2 After the great success of OnePlus Nord it was more than legitimate to expect a new model capable of correcting the defects of the debut and bringing some important news. And in fact, Pete Lau's company has followed this path with OnePlus Nord 2, an excellent mid-range smartphone that is truly convincing from every point of view. The greatest source of concern, namely the adoption of a MediaTek SoC instead of the usual Qualcomm Snapdragon did not actually cause any problems, on the contrary: the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI, the spearhead of the Taiwanese manufacturer, is able to guarantee performance brilliant in every situation, starting from the most classic and standard use up to satisfy the needs of the most demanding users. Even on the gaming side, OnePlus Nord 2 proves to be an excellent choice, capable of handling even the heaviest titles technically. The Fluid AMOLED display from 6.43 'to 90Hz is very good, while the photographic sector is certainly of a higher level than the mid-range, especially as regards the Sony IMX 766 50MP main sensor which has very few weaknesses both with photos and videos. The 4500 mAh battery with Warp Charge 65W recharge is completely adequate, allowing you to easily reach the 'usual' goal of the full day of work. Too bad only for the absence of wireless charging, but it is certainly not a drama. Beyond the hardware there is then the quality of customization through OxygenOS 11.3, undoubtedly one of the best Android versions on the market, very close to the stock experience. In short, with OnePlus Nord 2 there is very little to complain about, which is why it is one of our most recommended choices in this price range. 2. Samsung Galaxy A52 5G The name of Samsung, as we know, is a business card that for many users represents a sort of guarantee of quality. In fact, over the years, the Korean company, albeit with some missteps, has been able to propose solid smartphones and good or bad satisfactory in all their aspects, supported by one of the most popular Android customizations. With the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G we have an updated version of the A52 which, if from an aesthetic point of view absolutely nothing changes, it brings some updates under the hood. The display is a super AMOLED from 6.5 'to 120Hz really very pleasant and well calibrated, very readable even under direct light. The SoC is a Snapdragon 750G, a guarantee for the mid-range that guarantees fully satisfactory performance in any situation, including gaming. The RAM is 6GB and the internal memory 128GB, an ideal combination for this price range. The presence of 5G connectivity is then a factor that gives a certain serenity for use in the coming months and years, if it is not usual to change smartphones very often. There are 4 cameras, 3 of which are actually capable of shooting and one useful for gathering information on the depth and composition of the scene. The main sensor is 64MP, very good, flanked by a 12MP ultrawide and a 5MP macro. Although the first is obviously the best, the other two sensors also know how to give satisfactions, especially in optimal conditions. The front is instead 32MP, while the videos can reach 4k at 30fps. Finally, the 4500 mAh battery is fully adequate. 3. Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro Xiaomi is one of the most important players in the Android scene and in its vast catalog that is constantly updated at this time one of the most interesting smartphones in the price range under consideration is the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro. The Snapdragon 865 mounted is already a ticket from important visit, with top performance and the relative guarantee of a longevity of the device, which will undoubtedly remain usable and fast even in the coming months. Then there are 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM memory and 128 or 256GB of storage space with UFS 3.1 memories, and even in this case we are therefore talking about practically the best on the market. The 6.67-inch IPS display with 144Hz dynamic refresh of truly excellent quality: certainly it is not an AMOLED, and this perhaps can make these figures turn up their noses and taking into account that this technology is also spreading on cheaper smartphones, yet there is no doubt that the solution adopted by Xiaomi makes you regret very little the more prestigious alternative. To report the 20 MP front camera placed in a small punch hole in the upper left corner: an intelligent solution that maintains the continuity of the screen in the area most subject to the user's attention. The main photographic system is instead composed of a triple sensor 108 + 13 + 5 MP with wide angle and macro. The main camera is undoubtedly the one capable of offering the best performance, with excellent shots and a convincing application of HDR. Furthermore, the behavior is convincing even in low light conditions. The other two cameras are functional, but only manage to shoot well with sufficient light. The 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging is very good, offering a duration well beyond the day even with intense use. Plus, 5G connections are supported. The street price already significantly adjusted then places it well below € 500, making it one of the best choices in this range. 4. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Going up a little in level and in price, the most interesting proposal from Samsung (and more generally among the most interesting of the entire current market) is undoubtedly the Galaxy S20 FE, especially in the 5G version which can finally be purchased for less than € 600 thanks to various offers from retailers. This is the 'Fan Edition' variant of the S20 family, a bizarre label that defines what is probably the best version of this smartphone from Samsung: on the other hand, the technical data sheet is absolutely respectful, thanks to a Snapdragon 865 which is truly a bomb and guarantees such power to allow you to face any situation practically with your arm out the window. The Adreno 650 GPU and 6GB of RAM complete the picture. The Super Amoled screen is beautiful, on the other hand from the Korean house it is legitimate not to expect anything less: a 6.5 'panel with variable refresh at 120Hz and 2400x1080 resolution, very bright, defined and very pleasant to use, which in fact has no significant defects . The punch hole at the top is really small, almost negligible. Perhaps just the polycarbonate body instead of glass could leave a doubt in some potential buyer, given the objectively less valuable feeling. This is a choice that, however, allows you to reduce the overall weight, which stops at 190 grams. From a photographic point of view we find instead a 12MP Sony main sensor, with a 12MP wide angle lens and the 8 telephoto lens: especially when the first two work, the results are excellent, both in light conditions and at night. The videos at 4k and 60fps are also very good, well stabilized and bright, as well as the 32MP front is adequate. More than satisfactory autonomy, thanks to the 4500 mAh battery. 5. POCO F3 The POCO brand, owned by Xiaomi, continues to engage output after output with extremely convincing devices, which are collecting good sales even in our country. The POCO F3 is a smartphone with really excellent contents in consideration of the selling price, with very few weaknesses to report. Certainly it does not excite the design, rather banal and that does not add anything to the stylistic features of the sector, but those who pay attention to the point will be able to appreciate practically everything that the device has to offer, starting from the excellent 6.67 'AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh. to continue with the Snapdragon 870 alongside the Adreno 650 GPU and 6 or 8GB of RAM, depending on the version. It is immediately evident that the POCO F3 is therefore a smartphone with a remarkable firepower available, and in fact those who are interested in mobile gaming could find in this product an excellent solution to get the best out of the most demanding games. Where the POCO F3 shows some weakness is in the photographic sector, discreet but not like the rest: the rear module 48 + 8 + 5 manages to be performing only with the main lens, revealing several gaps with wide angle and macro. In any case, the list price of 369 € for the 6/128 version and 399 € for the 8/256 is truly amazing, making the POCO F3 a potentially near-perfect choice for many. 6. Google Pixel 4a Buying a Google Pixel phone is usually advisable for aware users, because the qualities of Android's 'parent' smartphones are not always immediately visible. The case is precisely that of the Google Pixel 4a, a product that does not stand out either for a particularly original or refined design or for a prominent technical data sheet or for a low price. Nevertheless, it is immediately clear for anyone who has the opportunity to use it what it means to have a smartphone with Android in stock version and with direct Google optimization. The Pixel 4a behaves excellently in every situation, it is compact and very fluid and can count on an excellent display and above all a camera among the best in its category, thanks to a software processing that knows how to make the difference. 7. Realme GT We have really appreciated Realme over the years, especially in the range of cheap smartphones, but even in the mid-range the Chinese house has its cards to play. The Realme GT is in fact a superior quality product, starting with the Snapdragon 888 SoC which is a guarantee of top performance. The 120Hz AMOLED display is also of an excellent level, capable of returning brilliant and pleasant images in any situation. Of course, on the whole you have to like the decidedly flashy design, which perhaps represents the clearest dividing line; secondly, it is the photographic sector that turns out to be 'only' good, with some weaknesses especially in low light conditions. The customization based on the popular Realme UI 2.0 is fully satisfactory. Too bad then for the absence of wireless charging. Overall, however, Realme GT is a product with a very high quality / price ratio. 71. Hitisy 72-73. Best Mid Range Smartphone 2021 74-75. Amir Group 76. Offices
